Casting Updates

(Updated 4.1.14)

“… Live in living color!…”

On Monday March 24 we finished our last New York audition, and realized we were more than covered for casting all the roles and the ensemble this year.  For that reason, we did not visit Los Angeles this year.

We’re so appreciative of all the artists who shared their time with us. The abundance of wonderful singers, dancers, and personalities from the Midwest, from both coasts, and from all across the country, provide a wonderful testimony to the strength of today’s musical theatre.

This year we saw 98 talents in Ann Arbor, 94 in Chicago, 186 in Wichita, 133 in Oklahoma City, and 360 in New York. That’s a total of 871 (not to mention all the Wichita Teens and Kids we saw separately). What a shame we can only hire about 30 of these worthy candidates to work in our resident company, and to join us as guest stars this summer!

As with each season, our particular needs are defined by the shows we are producing, which this year includes particularly demanding dance requirements, specifically ethnic roles, and unique vocal ranges.

If your name is listed below, and you have any questions, please email Nancy at  and we’ll do our best to give you answers.

As offers are going out and being accepted, we are beginning to see the makeup of our summer comany.  A few additional performers will be added for individual shows, especially 42ND STREET.
