Francesca Arostegui is thrilled to spend her first summer at MTWichita! She is a 2012 graduate from Indiana University with a BFA in musical theatre. Alicia Clark is a native of Broken Arrow, OK and just graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Oklahoma. Some favorite roles include A Chorus Line (Bebe), Hairspray (Tammy), Ragtime (Ensemble) with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, and Sunday in the Park…(Celeste), …Forum (Vibrata), A Chorus Line (Judy) with University Theatre. Alicia has also been the featured tapper with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic performing alongside Judy McLane and Jeff McCarthy. Alicia is thrilled to be here, and thanks her family for always supporting her.
Anna Cooper is so thrilled to be a part of MTWichita’s company this summer season! She recently completed her freshman year at Wichita State University as a musical theatre major. Favorite roles include Mimi in Rent, Anita in West Side Story, and Rusty in Footloose. So much thanks to God, her family & the whole MTW team for this awesome opportunity
Kate Dinsmore is from Olympia, WA, and is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre. Favorite roles include Domina (A Funny Thing…Forum), Smitty (How to Succeed…), and Sour Kangaroo (Seussical). She has sung with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra, and numerous times with the Oklahoma Jazz Ensembles.
Sarah Fagan is thrilled to make her musical debut with Music Theatre of Wichita and is very thankful for this opportunity! She just graduated from Oklahoma City University with a degree in dance performance, where she appeared in many shows with the American Spirit Dance Company. Sarah would like to thank her family at home and at OCU for their support.
Heather Farney is overjoyed to be a part of Music Theatre of Wichita’s company this summer. She graduated this past spring from Kansas State University with a degree in vocal performance music theatre. Heather would like to thank the MTWichita staff for this incredible opportunity.
Alex Finke is thrilled to be making her debut this summer at Music Theatre Wichita! She is a recent University of Michigan graduate, hailing from Dayton, Ohio. Brooke Lacy is delighted to be a part of MTWichita’s fantastic summer season! Sophie Menas is thrilled for her fifth MTWichita summer! She just graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and will move to New York City this fall. MTWichita debut! Born and raised in New York City, Matthew is a rising senior at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. CCM credits: Billy Pierce (Civil War), Rapunzel’s Prince (Into the Woods). Elsewhere: Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) at the Hudson Warehouse. In 2009, Matthew placed third overall in the English Speaking Union’s National Shakespeare Competition. Big thanks to his family, Wayne, and the Lookers!
Robert Ariza couldn’t be happier to join the MTWichita family! He is currently studying Musical Theatre at The University of Michigan. Max Chucker is a recent B.M. graduate from Florida State University. He has worked professionally with Wagon Wheel Theatre, Post Playhouse, and Virginia Music Theatre. Caleb Dicke is extremely excited to be joining the MTWichita family for his first summer. He will be a Junior Dance Performance at Oklahoma City University this fall. He is a member of the American Spirit Dance Company under the direction of Jo Rowan, has performed at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, as well as in productions of The Wedding Singer, Me and My Girl, Oklahoma!, Seussical, and Bye Bye Birdie. Matthew Elliott is happily returning to MTWichita this year for his second summer season. You may remember him from his MTW introduction five years ago as Troy Bolton in High School Musical. A recent graduate of Wichita State, he is so excited to be moving to NYC in the fall to pursue his dreams. He would like to thank his family for their constant love and support, his professors for their investment in his future, and MTWichita for giving him this amazing opportunity.
Daniel Horn is going into his senior year at the University of Oklahoma, and is extremely excited for his second MTWichita season. Adam Kaplan is so excited to be joining the MTWichita family for the summer. Originally from Westport, CT, Adam recently graduated from Elon University (BFA Music Theatre). Zach Miller is a sophomore musical theatre major at Penn State University and is excited to be joining the MTWichita company! Chet Norment is a rising junior at Elon University and thrilled to make his MTW debut! Recent credits include Hairspray (ZACH Theatre), She Loves Me (Elon University), and Joseph…Dreamcoat (Theatre of the Stars). Nick Palmquist is elated to be returning to Wichita for his second season! He would like to thank the entire MTWichita network for the overwhelming influence they have had on him as a performer and a person. He will be a senior dance performance major at Oklahoma City University.

Zachary Wilhelm is thrilled to be returning to MTWichita for a second season! He will be going into his Senior year in the Musical Theatre BFA program at Otterbein University. He is very grateful to everyone at MTWichita for this opportunity. And he would also like to thank Nick, Mom, Hayley, and the good Lord for keeping him going in this wonderful life.
Wayne Bryan is enjoying his 25th season at MTWichita, where he has now produced 124 Broadway-scale musicals, including dozens for which he also served as director or performer. Raised in southern California, Wayne began his professional career as both actor and director at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre, while stationed as a Navy officer in Coronado. Wayne performed on Broadway in Good News!, Rodgers and Hart, and Tintypes, and on television in such shows as “M*A*S*H”(CBS), “American History” (PBS), and “Keystone”(A&E). He also directed productions for theatres all across the country before coming to Kansas, but he feels he’s doing his most challenging and rewarding work now. Wayne is co-author with Mark Madama of a revised version of the collegiate musical Good News!, whose 1993 Wichita premiere has been followed by over 300 subsequent productions around the U.S., Canada and Great Britain, plus an internationally acclaimed cast album. Wayne was a 2002 recipient of the Kansas Governor’s Arts Award as an Individual Artist, and received the NCCJ Brotherhood/ Sisterhood Award, recognizing individuals who fight discrimination and encourage diversity. Wayne has served on arts panels for the NEA and the Kansas Arts Commission, and is a frequent lecturer and guest teacher at various universities.!
Joshua Larson (Teen Choir Staging Director) As a performer Joshua has performed with: MTWichita, Carnegie Hall, Stiletto Entertainment, Tuacahn, Silver Tree Productions, Oklahoma City University, Windwood Theatricals, The American Spirit Dance Company, and Holland America Line. He has traveled the country evaluating national dance competitions including Starbound and The Elite Dance Cup. As a choreographer Josh staged MTWichita’s last three editions of Festival of Broadway, and has choreographed the Teen Choir for the past seven years. Joshua worked as choreographer alongside Wayne Bryan on Wichita State University’s Good News! Some of Joshua’s favorite projects include Celebrate! at WSR Signature Theatre, Good News! at The Independent School, and Fiddler on the Roof at Goddard High School. He has taught and choreographed at various schools, studios, and theatres in and around the Wichita area, with his choreography earning him four Jester Awards.
Linda Starkey (Teen Choir Musical Director) continues her relationship with MTWichita, having performed in My Fair Lady, Oliver!, Cabaret, and The Sound of Music, and having conducted the Teen Choir and assisted with MTWichita’s apprentice program. Currently serving as the Director of the School of Performing Arts at Wichita State University, Linda has also served as Associate Director of the Opera and Music Theatre program there, and taught voice for more than 30 years. She has directed for Opera Kansas, WSU Opera Theatre, WSU Theatre, Wichita Community Theatre, Wichita Children’s Theatre, and the Center for the Arts. In 2005, her production of Pippin was chosen to be an alternate for the American College Theatre Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington D. C.
Nancy Reeves (Producing Associate / Company Manager) joined MTWichita in 1988 as a bookkeeper and soon took on other responsibilities. She first took over the position of Company Manager and more recently added Producing Associate to her job description. As Company Manager Nancy’s duties include coordinating auditions, handling thousands of submissions each season. Other duties include handling the travel and housing accommodation arrangements for guest artists, and maintaining active communications with all department and department heads throughout the season. As Producing Associate Nancy attends auditions and participates in casting decisions, works with agents and participates in contract negotiations. Her long tenure at MTWichita and close personal connections to people throughout Wichita allow her to be an outstanding resource for MTWichita and for artists working in Wichita during the summer season. She can quickly connect a need to a resource, whether that is a qualified rehearsal pianist, an appropriate caterer for a donor appreciation event or a convenient hotel room for a guest artists. This year she and her husband Mark will also be celebrating their 40th Anniversary on the closing night of the season, and the birth of their first grandchild! What a year!
